But, in all seriousness, Noxus is not corrupt. They are simply willing to do whatever it takes in order to ensure victory. Riven does not exemplify the Noxian ideals of strength. While the bombing of her unit may have been traumatic and unfortunate for her, her response to it was decidedly cowardly and un-Noxian in character.
A true Noxian warrior would not have fled into self-imposed exile on some "inner journey". If they disagreed with the military's actions, they would go back and attempt to bring about change and restitution from those who ordered and carried out that action. Or, in more Noxian terms, they would go back and kill the dirtbags who bombed their men and take their position.
But, instead, Riven ran away from her problems and abandoned the opportunity to bring about change.

Glory ln Death1 votesWell, let's be honest, here. We don't actually know what happened there. All we know is what Riven knew, and she ran away after pretending to be dead.
Riven simply assumed that her superiors ordered the attack after receiving her unit's SOS. She assumed that they even received it in the first place. For all we know, they never got the message - war is a messy thing, after all. Heck, Singed could have gotten the message and been like, "Pssshhhhh! Screw that! I wanna test out these cool bombs! The more subjects, the better! BOMBS FOR EVERYONE!". And then strapped the messenger to a bomb and sent him flying.
Or, there could have been a really dang good reason why they absolutely had to bomb the area right then and couldn't afford to wait for their men. Like some crazy champion-level dudes were about to be unleashed, or the Ionians were about to bring out some crazy nature magic or something. Ionia's a pretty crazy place, you know?
Just another reason why Riven should have stuck around, rather than running away. She could have figured out what actually happened there, instead of jumping to conclusions. Then, depending on the results, she could have acted accordingly - whether with understanding as to why it had to happen, or with vengeful retribution and bloodshed.

And when Noxus wet their little panties they decided to bomb their own men and the enemies for the sake of putting an end to a failure of a war.
Because they weren't "manly" or "brave" enough to fess up to their pathetic standards.
So yes Riven might be disloyal to a partner, if they were a violent asshole with no redeeming values.

Katarina is likely to beat the shit out of you before you even have a chance to try to hook up with her, and if you manage to, you are dead if anything goes south.
Shyvana has anger issues, the last thing you want is to upset her since next to anything can set her off and I would rather not deal with a massive dragon trying to kill me.
Riven basically is a depressed wanderer that just regrets what she has done and believes in true strength, not people that use underhanded methods to get power. You wouldn't get the time of day from her if you were weak, and if you were strong, she would most likely feel she doesn't deserve to be happy. If you managed to hook up with her, at least you aren't likely to die because of it. I feel Riven is more likely to just leave you than kill you.
