Amazingly enough Riven knows crap about wind techniques.

She only utilizes runes from her sword.

Riven's wind Technique is different from Yasuo's the Runes just enhance her naturally abilities

True, but various Rioters have made comments of Riven having such abilities. In fact during an LCS match years ago one of the shoutcasters (Forgot who might have been Phreak) made a comment about Riven having such abilities.

Ranging from "Pantheon is basically autoattack-based" to "Kennen is a girl", shoutcasters aren't in any way a reliable source of information.

Frankly, they aren't tied to Riot in a way they'd be.

Also, how making videos showcasing champions abilities and gameplay, with only a bare minimum of two-sentences(at best) long worth of introduction, makes Phreak a lore expert?

For example all that he said about Jinx boils down to "She's crazy, impatient and loves to piss off Vi".

Just you because you didn't say them doesn't mean you didn't mean them.

And he's on a time frame he can't exactly go into extreme detail about the lore of a champion, nore is it his job to do so.

As you said yourself, it is not his job. He has no reason to have an extensive knowledge about champions he had nothing to do with, beyond playing them.

Yet you tell me to take everything he, supposedly(!), said at face value.

Just because something isn't listed in a champions lore doesn't immediately mean it isn't true.

Yasuo's elder was killed by someone using a wind technique, Riven uses a win technique
Riot Employees other then shoutcastsers have said Riven uses such a technique
Her second ult is called WIND SLASH
Yasuo makes comments about Riven using such abilities, and Riven and Yasuo are listed as Rivals so clearly they have met

This point should number 2. Riven indeed uses win technique. Can't argue with that.

He shows curiosity and mentions her sword is a "wind blade". Nothing more, nothing less. She's listed as his rival, because she is the only person known to Yasuo who matches the description, while in fact, he doesn't even know what gender was the killer.

No seriously. Lore IS the champion and so far you've shown no arguments to state the opposite. "I heard, somebody said, his friend read somewhere, that..." doesn't count.

Yes, he seems surprised that she is able to utilize moves similar to his, but if anything he may not know that Riven's sword has a powerful enchantment and assumes it's Riven herself.

You can't really take Yasuo's words as a proof, because he never actually met Riven(or we have yet to learn that), just heard stories about her.

It's a human nature to be curious.

For example RaptorKarr is a known (among Meme section members) Riven player, while Vistha Kai has quite a number of Yasuo games on him. Not as much of curiosity itself, but a topic related to them personally.

Yes, you could climb Mt. Everest or do some other poinless crap like that, so what's the difference?
