probably not, unless it was a rediculously thick card, like, basically thick plastic, chances are it would tear and finish going off anyway, or just bend the card and work; not enough padding to stop the kinetic energy is how i'm thinking of it basically.

however MAGIC cards like TF has ain't gotta explain shit, and Kaiba has money so he screws the rules so it's cool there too.
