Never really have gotten bad advice for him. Hell, I can confirm AP on him can work as long as you use a very specific set of AP items.

It's best to leave this in Co-Op though. Unless you are on a 5 man premade team and they are all fine with you trying it in a PvP match. A Solo player will very likely report you, especially if it doesn't work out xP
