You people are acting like satisfying the community never brings Riot money. And speaking of "satisfying", have you forgotten about Resistance Illaoi?
Riot went as far as to ask the community what Illaoi skin they'd like to see, then they gave us a full insight on the development process and they never stopped taking feedback untill the skin was finished. And let's not forget the player-made skins that were brought into the game, due to high demand. Examples: Dragonmaster Swain, Dark star Orianna, Void Fizz.
Riot DOES care about the community when it comes to skins. Just because they haven't released an Aurelion Sol skin doesn't mean they never will. I'm using him as an example, since he is mentioned every time a new skin is annuced.
Also, don't act like if Riot releases a new Aurelion Sol skin tomorrow, you people will insta-buy it. Archlight Yorick and Deathsworn Viktor weren't exactly best-sellers. People will just move on to complaining about how another champion hasn't gotten a skin. Because that's how our beloved Boards function.

Yep, this ultimate was a big step down compared to Lux's based on what we've seen already. It'd need some absolutely stellar visual and sound effects to come close at this point. Plus you know people are still pissed about the bias towards ADCs, this will only help to fuel the fire.

Does no one realize that the boards and even Reddit are only a small amount of the community. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty sad it's not a top laner but I'm guessing a large amount of the league community is fine.

Personally, I think the skin is fine for what it is.
My issue is more with the name and the timing of the drop. Seriously... "Gun Goddess" Miss Fortune?
It just feels like a particularly tone deaf moment to release a skin that literally glorifies guns.
Couldn't wait a couple of months to roll in the money? Or maybe rename the skin so it's more about her tech or the thematic elements and less about the MuthaFukkin guns. One suggestion... Mecha Miss Fortune. Suits the skin fine and fits her into a current skin theme. GG.
