Remember: feeding is not reportable

But INTENTIONAL feeding is. "But what's the difference?" Feeding is just you die a lot Example: The support is camped by the jungler and dies 5 times in the laning phase Intentional feeding is you try your hardest to die Example: Tyler1 becomes toxic that Rengar has once again killed his support and begins to run it down mid, ending the game with 30 deaths Sure both suck, but don't report the first one

TL;DR Feeding is not always report-worthy, remember that even the best players have terrible games

I had someone flame me because my internet just had a freak out on me that game. It was to the point where the enemy team could tell that I was really lagging and didn't report me while adc flamed me about it after losing his lane as well. I disconnected a few times too, but he still wouldn't believe me.

Like god damn, if I can't move, I can't save you from the rengar after you decided that taking a stroll in the jungle is your best course of action. If I can't move or skill cast for shit, I really can't stop my laner from leaving lane or coming back to burst me down. He threatened to report me if I just left even though I was at a constant 1 - 2k ping but then told the whole enemy team to report me for intentional feeding for staying so he won't report me for afk.

The enemy team actually made my day by all coming to my defense and reassuring me they won't report me.

When I told him my internet is acting up, his response is "why did you play league?"

Well, to those who don't understand, THINGS BREAK AT WEIRD AND INCONVENIENT TIMES. Has it occurred to you that no one likes lag? That playing with lag is frustrating? But no one can magically predict the future and figure out when their internet decides to die on them. At college I have a constant and pretty great connection most of the time. If it all of a sudden decides to die on me for 30 minutes, I can't do jackshit about it.

The support one is understandable, people don't realize that the supports always have well more deaths than kills since we aren't suppose to be getting kills, were suppose to be handing over ever kill we can.

The system is automated, so it can't differentiate "smart trolls". Manual review does happen, but very rarely and very limited. Had a 0/13 ahri, who just pretended he/she were new. Literally, they would only autoattack the enemy Ekko. The items weren't troll, and she want isn't feeding.

You can intentionally play poorly, and pretend you're bad. Anyone who does anything that has even the smallest sign of aggression can be reported and punished by the system.

Its nearly IMPOSSIBLE to differentiate the two. Perfect example.... my last game, jax SELLS ALL HIS ITEMS... runs and dies 7 times in his lane. Then BUYS THEM ALL BACK, and returns to trying to play normal for the next 4 mins until the game ended. And BOOM, report dodged. But anyone who PLAYED in that game would know he was a troll. Its the sneaky trolls that are the WORST. Or the kids who spam... "OH IM LAGGING" and just die over and over.

THIS POST YES YES YES ALL OF MY YES!!!!!!!!

I'd upvote this a billion times if I could.

I have bad games alot of the time, like I suck, for real, but I NEVER intentionally feed, whenever I play I always try my best.

Back when unskilled player was a report option I always felt so bad when people would report me for that, but when that was removed I was thinking YES, HOORAY, PRAISE BASED RITO!!! But even now, that unskilled player report that was removed ages ago, people STILL say their going to report me for feeding, and when I tell em only intentional feeding is reportable, they say they'll report me anyway. Thats happened countless times to me already, but I have never been banned from it, so clearly their false reports mean nothing.

People need to get it through their thick skull that you can't report me, or anybody, just cause there playing badly, UNLESS its on purpose.

Only once however had I had a bad game and my team said I was intentionally feeding and when I told them I wasn't they wouldn't believe me.

Still not banned though.

Those idiot bastards should get that sometimes people have bad games, it baffles me that people can't understand such a simple matter.

Heck, whenever I'm in champ select and when the game starts I always ask how people are doing and say GLHF to try and bring a positive vibe, to bring up morale and stuff, but even when I try to be kind and respectful the moment I die a second time in lane they say gg and say their gonna report me.

And if I'm being honest here, imo, the unskilled player report option shouldn't have been a thing in the first place. Nobody would get banned from that, it was practically (but not entirely I know) a way for tilted players to vent their frustration. Which the game shouldn't have to be your fucking stress ball, if your tilted go take a break and chill off, no reason to flame at end game screen or report for bullshit reasoning.

Anybody who wants to report someone for feeding when their not trying to AND they already know unskilled player isn't a report option anymore is a stubborn asshole that should be able to get it into their brain that they can't report like that anymore, if they have a brain under all that anger that is.

I apologize if I seemed rude in this post, I felt this was a topic I wanted to discuss for a while and this post made me so happy I thought now was a good time.

So yeah, great post, I agree with it 10000000000000000%!!! :D

I hope whoever reads this has a great day! Best of luck on the rift.

This is wrong. If you make it to the postgame screen all 9 other players are reportable. That's the only condition. Whether or not you think the reasons for report are valid is irrelevant.

In the end all that matters is if Rito's ban bot decides to punish, based on some unpublished heuristics. And under the current system you have nothing to lose for wholesale reporting anyone and everyone. And who knows, maybe even if it wasn't intentional feeding the ban-bot might decide it's still punishment worthy. So report away. That's how the system works here.

Just had a game where my mid, adc, AND top laner all gave up on the game within 5 minutes. They just let themselves die continuously. I also had a horrible score but that was only because I kept trying like an idiot because what else was I supposed to do? Afk in the base with them?

Elikain9/6/2016, 1:33:53 PM1 votes

Feeding is a report worthy offense. It's not called feeding if someone's getting camped, you just need to be observant to notice that.

Not xPeke9/6/2016, 2:00:16 PM1 votes

Except for cases where someone isn't "intentionally" feeding but plays without a care in the world. He's already 0/5 yet keeps walking up to the enemy toplaner, pushes without wards, tower dives, and dies over and over again. When your team tells you not to push, to ward, or to stop trying to fight the fed Darius but you can be seen perma pushing and trading with him, that IS intentional. You chose to ignore your teammate's calls and tips/advice and keep dieing. That is your choice. That is intent.
