Kindred mid works fairly well, as long as you don't get someone like Yasuo.

Also lane Yi works.........................kinda. Only tried it twice though, neither really started off well, but in the top lane game (first one), my team was able to do well in other lanes so that my weak spot eventually dissipated and we could finish (I really didn't do much though. Our Nami had more damage then me)

I saw a draven top vs a nautilus, he built to shut down tanks unlike anyone down in the bot lane and despite feeding early on (he's draven alone I mean what's he going to do somehow survive a rengar nautilus engage?) I was maokai support with my friend who was mf

what happened was draven ended up just farming to godlike powers from being in the top lane and all I had to do was sit with him and nobody could burst him down (maokai ult) and none of their tanks could cc them (I'm maokai) and we basically just won from that lel

I would assume that because riven's passive and ultimate buff her AA damage a ton and a good riven will get quite a few autos in between her combo so if any of those crit well....

that and IE gives you a lot of power

I wouldn't know. The only attack speed item I build for him if ever is item 1403 . After that I just some tanky on hit items. So his attack speed is above 1.00 and it's pretty fun.

My biggest tip is to grab Some MS items like item 1306 And something like item 3022 to keep them from walking away from you. Your attacks while dead still apply these things.

I tried Crit Blitz in ARAM twice or so. Once won fed the other time defeated but still decent kills. Tis but an ARAM but it was fun seeing it works with his E.
