I saw a draven top vs a nautilus, he built to shut down tanks unlike anyone down in the bot lane and despite feeding early on (he's draven alone I mean what's he going to do somehow survive a rengar nautilus engage?) I was maokai support with my friend who was mf
what happened was draven ended up just farming to godlike powers from being in the top lane and all I had to do was sit with him and nobody could burst him down (maokai ult) and none of their tanks could cc them (I'm maokai) and we basically just won from that lel
Kindred mid works fairly well, as long as you don't get someone like Yasuo.
Also lane Yi works.........................kinda. Only tried it twice though, neither really started off well, but in the top lane game (first one), my team was able to do well in other lanes so that my weak spot eventually dissipated and we could finish (I really didn't do much though. Our Nami had more damage then me)
I considered doing attack speed bruiser Shen, but I'm waiting for the opportunity to try zombie Sion.

Surprisingly, I beat him early game.
I tried Crit Blitz in ARAM twice or so. Once won fed the other time defeated but still decent kills. Tis but an ARAM but it was fun seeing it works with his E.
