Well technically they are right, but too often you are placed against players who are either on average better/worse than you but just happen to have a losing/winning streak during that time to inflate their mmr. Same goes for your teammates and yourself.

haha if that were true why do i end up having to try to hard carry (i cant carry for shitt btw) my teams in 8/10 games i play seriously.
When you get a loss streak and your MMR drops... then you lose LP even if you get ahead in wins -_- How am I supposed to climb when I gain 15 from wins and lose 24 from losses? You legit have to win 4 out of 5 for like 30 games to fix your MMR after you get a loss streak.

You still don't know that MM creates artificial wins and losses to try to boost or tone down people? The statistical 50% win rate is the key.
