Lmao, what idiot builds qss on kata? I also play kata o.o and i would never build qss. You wait and bait out the focus. Never weaken your damage output with qss. Not to mention, Liss can w and r you. So good luck with that. P.S She wouldn't be the only amount of cc on team obviously.

Qss just hinders her damage output. I guess I could see it in certain situations I.E Malz, but building qss facing a lissandra is kinda odd imo

I wouldn't recommend rushing it but if you are the main focus, which you likely will be, you should grab one versus her if you are ahead and can do so. If you are even or behind, do not grab it. You'll also need Zhonya's to accompany it, as that is the primary reason why I buy it: to cleanse the effect, then to negate all damage from their focus onto you. The item itself is worthless on Kat if she doesn't have Hourglass.

Never weaken your damage output with qss.

kata has 2.5 Better ad scaleing than ap scaleing on w and 1.5 or 1.7 better ad scaleing than ap scaleing on her ult

That wasn't my pont at all. Merc. Scimitar is one of the weaker ad defensive items. A hybrid ap/ad item is more beneficial.

the point of him getting it isnt for the ad even though its nice its so that when he gets stunned as any smart person on the enemy team would do when they see a katarina jump in he can cleanse it so that he can contunue his combo uninterupted stunned suppressed etc

The QSS only works on cc used on you, right? You can't do anything about it if Liss ults herself.

The conversation is primarily about when being ulted as Katarina by Lissandra. However, it would remove the slow from her ultimate, although it'd be a waste of the active imo.

Ruins kill and/or roam potential. TP if you have a rough lane to face, but they have a squishy bot lane. Ignite if you have an easy lane. (ie: Ezreal)

You can take it, but I'd rather go and spend 1350 gold rather than use a summoner spell with a higher cd.

buying items that do not contribute at all to your damage output ruin your kill potential way more than a summoner spell designed to give you that kill opportunity...
