just remember the actual point of the game is to have fun and enjoy it.

here is a though about rank...

rank isnt something to be ashamed of. i feel rank is just a way for riot to put players of similar skill levels vs each other so they can have fair games and enjoy and have fun playing the game... hear me out...

you are bronze.. what if every game you matched vs plats and diamonds? and you get stomped up and down the map and the game is no fun to you.. are you likely to keep playing if that is what happens every time?

on the other hand if your plat/diamond whatever "high" elo if you playing vs people lower skill level then you is that fun not every being challenged? it would be like if you were to go play a game co op vs bots or a custom game vs bots and the difficult is set on easy?

how fun is that?

so in theory rank is there to put us vs people we have a chance to win against while being challenged so the game is fun and rewarding at the same time and keeps you playing..

Master is like watching both team's OTP get all their mains banned because they know exactly who is in the queue and watching someone do something really dumb just because they're ghosting someone else's stream instead of positioning.

Pretty sure Challenger is like "What the fuck, is this a challenger game? Maybe I should be pro because these guys suck."

Meh, elo hell is a myth and I would be plat if I felt like it. I carry my games fairly consistently even as strange stuff like Tristana summoner 11

or more recently, Varus summoner 11 and playing Thresh summoner 3 for the first time in non gamemode norms in ~7-8 months

Gold 4 and that is my attitude.

As I play in bronze I learn, I am molded by it, I have thrived in it, and soon I shall rise above it. This Elo which you have called hell I shall call home, I shall embrace it!

Gold is the best elo because people actually realise they are garbotrash and stop being obnoxious fools. Then they reach plat and it all turns upside down.

Bronze: "I am trash and know nothing about the game, but act like I deserve Gold +, Riot why you trap me here? I am good! My AD Nunu wins all my games!"

Silver: "Everyone in my rank is bad except for me, I know enough to not be Bronze, but my mechanics and mentality are terrible still. I am 0/10? Feeding teammates feeding their team, no duh i am 0/10."

Gold: "I am great, amazing, the best, why can't I hit plat? I deserve plat! These boosted teammates need to go back to bronze, me and my 4 Diamond smurf friends got to Gold on our own by playing together as a team, cuz we are best." (even while making fun of this elos mentality, I still admit I think my teammates are boosted lol can you guess which rank i am in? ;D)

Plat: "I can play any champion into any role with any build, because I am God's gift to League. The only reason I am not Diamond is because of boosted teammates and I don't have enough time."

Diamond: "Even though we are the top % and should feel good about that, we still discriminate within our own Rank. Anyone below Diamond 1 is garbage, we Diamond 1's are God's of League."

Masters+: "TOXIC TOXIC TOXIC TOXIC ALL OTHER RANKS ARE STUPID NOOBS" (this isn't exactly true, every Masters or Challenger I have met has done nothing toxic, they even give me advice on how to play actually.)

Bronze in Korea: "Man I can get to Challenger in NA, why can't I get out of Korean Bronze V?"
