The new 2v0 strategy is god awful for the game

The new dominate strategy utilized by many of the top teams across EU and NA is incredibly boring and I can't imagine how it would feel to play as a top laner in this farm starved format. Is Riot planning on addressing this strategy?

Last season, we saw Riot take the first steps to address 2v1s by making the top turret tankier than the bottom turret. That experiment didn't work and by Season 4, we were seeing fast push 3v1 or usually 4v0s. Now, the fast push doesn't work as well, and the adjustment has gone from a fast push to a farm starve mentality where instead of having a top laner, you have double junglers for the first 10 mintues (or so).

I think the real problem with this isn't how strong the towers are defensively, but how strong they are offensively. I've been playing this game for a long time, before even the jungle was a full blown role and i can remember back in season one thinking "Okay, it's going to be versus two top... I'll be fine because I can rely on my tower to protect me." That's just not the case anymore. Sure the tower will survive, but the threat to the enemies seems so diminished now.

I'm inclined to agree with your analysis. And I think the core reason is the mobility creep. When champs have a dash, they can get in and kill you, and get out without taking too many tower hits.

I don't agree with you that lane swaps with duo junglers and fast pushes are ALWAYS a bad thing, but it should be a strat that your team chooses, not the thing to do in every single game.
