IF EVERYONE HAS TRINKETS THEN THERE'S NO POINT IN JUNGLING IF THEY SEE U SWEEPING A WARD. THEN THERE IS NO POINT OF GANKIKNG.

The trinkets give you freedom of choice and bring up some new gameplay dynamics. Check pwndras's post, it summarizes the idea well.

possibly, i mean think about it this way.
they see you sweep a ward. now dilemma have you gone back or are you sitting in that bush still waiting for me to come by and ward it?
You'd be surprised how many people still don't use the wards even though they are free.
