Skin Pics Upon Slaying an Enemy

Im not sure if something like this has been brought up but, basically, I was thinking why not use selected skins faces after killing an enemy champion or slaying dragon/baron. For instance I slay Riven with Poppy. If I am using the skin Scarlet Hammer Poppy then I want to see scarlet hammer poppy's face, not regular poppy's face. Same with Riven. If that Riven was using a skin, I want to see that I slain that persons skin and not the regular Rivens face. I hope yall see where Im getting at. I also think it would be a great addition to add with the new Summoners Rift coming out. Please consider this and give feedback. Thanks. :)Poppy summoner 14 item 3078

This would be a pretty sweet idea. I would just love for Veigar to be replaced by Bad Santa Veigar when getting my kills :D

I also like this idea :)

They don't do this because one, I'm pretty sure it uses a different piece of art that they haven't created for most skins. And two, it would create confusion among the players of the game not being able to identify the champion as easily. Some skins? It wouldn't really be a problem, but it would for other skins, especially ones that a particular player might not be familiar with.

Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see something to this extent, but I honestly don't see it happening. The kills etc. wouldn't be as problematic as a minimap change, but I think the same reasons they won't change the minimap circles would apply.

I would love this as a veteran player, but it reduces clarity for newer players and thus isn't something Riot seems apt to do.

Would be nice if it was a setting, though, but it doesn't impact game play so it'd be very low priority.

For that matter, why can't the notifications say "Summoner Name [Champion]" instead of just "Summoner Name"? The chat ones, as well.

And from a "this might confuse new players" standpoint, what if the first time they see a certain champ, they're using a skin? Then, when they're involved in a kill in-game, they see a portrait pop up that they've never seen before -- some of the skin splashes look almost nothing like the default splashes ("Okay I got killed by a chick with bunny ears, who's this?").

They said no to this, and here is their reasoning: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4430773

That's certainly been brought up before and it would be nice.

For the sake of clarity it would likely need to have a toggle for default/special icons though, which is the Riot argument I've mostly seen. Which isn't undoable. I would really like to see the splash art of skins I bought for the splash art represented outside of the loading screen.

And on clarity - sometimes I get confused when skins aren't represented in the icons :(
