Anivia can interfere with her own team

I was recently playing a game with an Anivia who waited at spawn in the beginning of the game, to cancel everyone's teleport with her ability "Crystallize". She continued to do the same thing in top lane with Riven, every time Riven tried to recall. If there is any way Anivia's ice wall could be changed so that it does not negatively effect her team-mates while still being fair to the opposing team, it would be greatly appreciated.
