What is riot going to do about the platinum people spamming their channels on smurf accounts?

So I just finished my last promo, and what should have been a 7:3 there turned 6:4. My last game, three plats on their team are smurfing and spend their time promoting their private channels so we can watch them decimate other teams. This is ridiculous; they can burn lower leveled players and try and get more page views at the same time. Somehow, because of this, I am now one tier lower than I was at the end of last season, because plat tools are running around throwing burner accounts to try and spread their holy gospel to everyone trying to get higher.
