has anybody tried this team strategy?

k so have 2 or more champs with traps, have one go top the other bot. lanes should be 2 top, 1 mid, 2 bot. have the traps champs set up traps in the golem and lizard camps, have mid when available kite the golem or lizard to traps to give buffs to the traps champs, this will share xp, buffs faster, and even gold I think in season 4. Just wondering if this would be better or just as good as a jungler.

I see the reasoning behind the have people share both lane and jungle exp which means more exp because of how exp is shared. But then you actually have no jungler, and the jungler is not only the guy who farms the jungle, he actually roams the map and puts pressure and gnaks the lanes. Having people in lane all the time means its super easy to predict their movements.

It could work in 1 scenario IMO. When 1 of the 2 laners in the double lane has tons of cc thus can scale without gold and 1 laner (might be the same one) has good scaling with gold. Thus we have the team that does this have good team fighting and good laning, but have no map pressure.

And there is no combination of champions that I can think about that would work like this.

I like the idea though.

It would be very difficult to give kite the buffs over to the far lanes. The golem and lizard won't follow you very far, so what youll end up with is a mid laner who has to beat them down then move em over the trap so hopefully the trap kills it. So the mid laner goes through all this work to get to send benefits to his teammates without seeing any of the reward for himself.

However... These's a lot more you could do if you wanted to make 2 top 1 mid 2 bot setup viable. On this team there'd be essentially three main champs and 2 helpers. The two mains on the outer lanes would be an ADC who benefited from red and an APC who benefited from blue. There supports would need to be AP or AD bruisers, people who could potentially roam about when needed, with the idea here being that any time either of the carries could hold the lane by themselves, (for example if the lane is pushed almost to tower but not under it so they can last hit without going too far) there support bruisers would be roaming around, clearing jungle camps, counter jungling, pressuring for a gank when available. This would really utilize the whole map by dividing the jungle on the middle lane. Bot lane's support bruiser takes the bottom half, top takes top, and they come and go from lane as necessary to help their carry.

Mid lane needs a tank in this setup. because really, there only job is to make sure that middle turret never fall, and be a heavy engager/damage sponge for the two carries.

I can already think of a good teamcomp for this. Veigar and Garen take the lane nearest to their blue buff, Malphite takes mid, and Vayne and Diana take the lane closest to red buff. I mean, you can switch out champs as you please, but you can see the setup.

I dunno though. I rarely play 5v5.
