Nidalee proposed changes / Ideas for spears, cat form, ect

Alright lets get down to the white elephant in the room. Nidalee is on of those champions that in general has little counter play and isn't very satisfying to use. Yes hitting a clutch spear at max range is fine and all but when we get down to the nitty gritty mechanics of her kit and play style she isn't very entertaining to play or play against (at least for me).

I would like to propose some changes that might make her more interesting on the fields of justice as a mage that creates an opening for a fight rather than forcing the other team members to back and play super defensive. She is a safe pick in the mid lane and that is fine and all but in fights she doesn't do a whole lot other than spear, heal then use cat form to clean up.

I propose a radical change to her spears. Perhaps they should lose damage as the travel (after a certain distance) but then the tradeoff is that is shreds magic resist or increases magic damage by a percentage and that value increases the further it travels.

Then to cougar form the swipe and pounce need to be skillshot based and to compensate her have less damage from spears include bonus armor and magic resist in cat form so she can jump in the fight rather then use it to escape or clean up. This would give her a proper engage to fights.

Example, she hits you with a spear at max range, it does decent damage but now your magic resist is shred. Next the tank of the team jumps in and initiates the fight. Your magic resist is still shred as nid pops cougar form and jumps on you bursting you down in cat form and taking you out of the fight. Then the adc and rest of the team clean up your team and take a tower.

This way she would still be effective in poke comps but also have a proper team fight. This would still make her vulnerable though as she could easily be cced in the fight and killed. Which is why I mentioned a little bonus armor and MR in cat form. Her play style to me at least should feel like Elises or Jayces play style in terms of a combo of spells. She should spear into cat form to burst. Like Elise in her cocoon, venom, spiderling into spider form to do the burst. Just my opinion but let me know what you guys think!
