Teambuilder Suggestion: Improving Queue Times
For less played roles, I recommend you offer a small IP boost for the positions needed filled that are in high demand.
I've queued up countless times and waited 10+ minutes to finally find a Marksman or Support, only to have them leave. My queue time has gone from an average of 30 seconds before Teambuilder, to an average of 30 minutes.
In World of Warcraft, tanks and healers were given incentive to join a queue to make dungeon finding easy for players who did damage roles. Extra 50g-100g or a small item reward. If the League Developers implemented a system... say, 25 IP for 2nd highest demanding role, and 50 IP for highest, more players would queue up for those roles. If it's anything more than that, it would ruin the reasoning for IP boosts.
Contrary to the IP idea... Why not allow people to switch roles while in a game to help get their current game going? There's been multiple times I would have loved to switch from Top to Bot just to get a game going, but had no option to unless completely disband the game and search for new players... seems like another waste of time?
I love the idea of teambuilder, you guys did a great job. Small implementations need to be made to keep the enjoyment of 1 minute or less queue times to the normal queue players however
