Is this a Caitlyn Bug: Killed by her ult after recall completes.

Whenever i've played as Caitlyn it seems as though champions were safe from my ult if my shot went off as my target was recalling. Well, it happened once where I was recalling and I didn't even know I was the target of her ult, but I was extremely low health. I made it back to base and before health regen kicked in I noticed that I had her target on me and sure enough the shot came out of nowhere and I was killed. If the recall animation finishes and I'm at base, I should be safe, right? Is this a bug?

If the shot fires before the recall animation is done, the projectile still fires, regardless of distance. So no, it's working as intended.

Targeted abilities will reach their target unless they deal damage along the way. The exception that proves the rule would be Nautilus' ult. You can only out run that one I think; perhaps Vi ult as well.
