I personally think that the default graphics should be set to "very low" to supposed increased performance for players who just installed the game, as medium graphics sometimes cause a delay in the summoner's first game (which happened to me on PBE) , resulting in leaving the game multiple times in an attempt to reconnect.

Tsiddique3 votesFor me, whenever I change the graphic settings, it freezes for 10-30 seconds and then comes back. Gets annoying if you are in the middle of a game.

Yeah, it's not a bad idea. Another possible solution would be to allow players to adjust their in-game settings without entering a game. That would also be useful for changing hotkeys etc without taking time out of a game.

Only Play Nid1 votesMy rig runs BF4 flawlessly at around 60FPS on ULTRA for almost all graphic settings at 1900x1200 resolution, (100% resolution), yet this game occasionally has me below 60 FPS and regularly crashes. There´s a lot that should be looked at before we start you off at low graphics because I don´t feel this is the actual problem of the crashing error.
