Anyone have an idea of the downtime we're looking at? When does the season officially start?

I believe there was rumors of it not starting until tomorrow.
Wish it wasn't impossible to find this kind of info.

im new to lol and not level 30 but so if ur like platnum and higher do u hav to do the 10 games thing cawse thats kinda unfair cawse u fall bac down to the bottom and then hav to work ur way up again is that true?
