How to NERF The Cane (nasus)

i think we should make it so that when u play , u lose a percent of stacks at death so he doesn't become super duper uper muper luper duper smuper fluper shlooper mlooper STRONG late game. I played a game against a and i shut him down pretty well early on but later on he just farmed the jungle and top and got so strong. HE NEED SOME NERF. plz someone come up with a better nerf if this idea is not good.
