3 games today now, about to win, in the final push, and everything freezes. "attempting to reconnect" and can't get back into game until it just quits, match not on history page. This needs to be fixed immediately! It's killing my ranked experience if I don't get credit for my wins... this is ridiculous. Seriously unfair and making me not want to play, and I played through Xin release...
Conditiona2 votesIve been experiencing this alot too, not necessarily when making final push but ive had many games(im dc right this very second) where I can talk to my friends list and can surf the web, have perfect internet... cannot connect to the game, Im in provisionals for gold 4 with 1-1... winning... attempting to reconnect... why!?
OblongOtter1 votesThat happened to me a while back, but I think it was someone on my team (we were losing.) I was on Steam Chat with my friend and we talked about how it happened to us both at the same time, everything matches up to this. I explained it later to Hyrum and he told me it was probably a drophack. Don't know why the guy couldn't just accept the loss.
Tsiddique1 votesYou think you feel pain? I was at Promos for Gold 4, one win. I get drop hacked and can't win a game at all. Losses, I don't get drop hacked, I've fallen all the way to 1 LP.
Thuringwethil1 votesThis has been happening A LOT to me lately. One of them count as a loss...and resulted in a failed promotion series. Just now got done with a zed game where this happened. Stuck at attempting to reconnect for 15 minutes before I closed the game. I don't dare try to play ranked at all for fear of what might happen. Thank you Riot and company for ruining my season.
IIllIIlIIlIIllI1 votesYou may be faulting them a bit more than you should. It's a free game as in no monthly payments or anything like that. They have a huge playerbase and try to make everything work for everybody. Also being a free game you do not count as a customer meaning on paper they are not obliged to provide you with solid servers/protection/etc. :)
Proxyminers1 votesFree to play games make more $$$ Annually than Monthly paid games, which is why you see more FTP games, as they use the Store to promote buying as people prefer to pay to make them different in game than pay monthly for sever maintence. So in other words, Riot makes a lot more money that you think and with them using a server platform which allows them to maximize the servers to a point of a few servers per region; because the game it self doesn't take up much memory for processing on the servers; Riot saves a lot of money by not having a lot of servers. You will find that East Coast players complain the most in the USA region for example because the servers are on the West Coast. Drop Hack is a problem. They have already addressed it, but they are still behind the times of hacks in their game.
