So I fought hard a long time ago to have this item returned to the fields of justice after it's been remove and it was successful... Sorta, put simply, the item change blows.
For 2150, +45% attack speed. Passive: This item does not grant any attack speed while on cooldown. Champion kills reduce the current cooldown by 50%. Unique Active: Gain 100% Attack Speed and 100% Critical Strike Chance for 3 seconds or 3 critical strikes. (60 second cooldown)
What was it before?
For 1970, 60% attack speed, Unique passive: Every fourth attack deals 100 extra Magic Damage. Unique active: Your attacks cannot be dodged and you gain 30 Armor Penetration for 8 sec. (40 second cooldown)
Please keep in mind that in the past, I loved the item, it was my bread and butter item to fend off the tanky meta. I brought it for the 60% attack speed and 30 armor pen. For the price it was wonderful. The 100 magic damage on hit was a bonus.
Note: Dodge, minus Jax, has been removed from the game. 3 Critical Strikes is either a typo or bug, it only works for 3 hits period and the crits don't even apply to the turret your attacking.

Idea for Change I want to keep the item to remain affordable, cost effective, and be popular again. I actually want to be proud of the hard work, we summoners have done to fight for the item's return. So time to bring forth ideas.
IDEA 1
400G Dagger + 900G Recurve Bow + 700G = 2000 Gold
60% Attack Speed, Unique passive: Every fourth attack deals 10% extra true damage. Unique active: You gain double bonus attack speed, double critical strike chance. Also gain 25% Bonus True Damage every Fourth Hit for 5 sec. On Cooldown: Bonus Damage Lost, attack speed lost. Attack Speed and Bonus Damage Returns at 1% attack speed a second, and 1% true damage on the fourth auto attack every 6 seconds. (60 Second Cooldown)
IDEA 2
400G Dagger + 800G Avarice Blade + 900G Recurve Bow + 700G = 2800 Gold
70% Attack Speed, 10% Critical Strike Chance, Passive: Kills grant a stack, monsters and Large minions grants 2 stacks. Max 30 stacks. On death, half of stacks is lost. Active: Increase Critical Strike Chance and Critical Strike Damage by .5% for every stack for 6 seconds. On Cooldown, all stacks lost and recharges at 1 stack a second. (30 Second Cooldown)
IDEA 3
400G Dagger + 730G Agility Cloak + 900G Recurve Bow + 370G = 2400 Gold
50% attack speed, 20% Critical Strike Chance. Unique Passive: On hit effects critically strikes with basic attack as bonus magic damage. Unique Active: Increase On hit effects critical strike damage by 20%(+1% per 50 AP) for 8 seconds. (60 cooldown)
I've created these ideas to a riot standard of start Over Powered for PBE and nerf later. I really hope that the ideas are tested out.
