Why is Ezreal allowed to use his E even if Thresh and Blitzcrank land their hooks on him? It doesn't seem fair that he gets to do this seeing as how Caitlyn, Graves, and Tristana all get caught in their pulls anyways. Can someone please help me understand why he's allowed to do that?
Roaranor2 votesEzreal's displacement works a little bit differently from the other examples you mentioned.
For Caitlyn, Graves, and Tristana, their displacement moves them from point A to point B over a short period of time. Thresh's hook and Blitzcrank's grab can interrupt movement patterns like this if they connect.
Ezreal's displacement is a blink, in which he moves from point A to Point B instantly after a brief channel. The process of the actual displacement is instant (like flash) and cannot be interrupted and any cc will be applied afterwards if it lasts. You can still pull Ezreal if you can connect to him before the channel time finishes I believe.
MackleDoge1 votesAlso just to add into this, if you hit Ezreal as he is channeling the E, even if the blink does go off he'll be stunned where he lands. I've seen the interaction a few times and sometimes it can be a bit inconsistent. It also has the same kind of interaction with the Blitz grab.
bzhen09151 votesBecause he is ezreal, the Ultimate kiting ADC. Keep in mind he really doesn't do much damage compared to other ADCs.
lostbob1171 votesPretty sure you're able to flash these too. His E is meant to be Flash with an attack on it.
