The fact that I lose lp from que dodging, but someone doesn't lose anything from leaving a game or dcing is pathetic, but yet I still get penalized with a loss. Riot I fell like you people should open up your eyes and fix this. You have done nothing in this game to stop trolls, but penalize people who que dodge which was never an issue. We que dodge because of trolls riot. Sigh, and anyone who thinks otherwise you are just as stupid. I've spent hundreds of dollars on this game and expect you to change something in it that makes it fair for everyone... All I see is new skins and champs being made, there are more issues you should be putting your time in to make a better game for the community to solve the issues of trolls. Maybe getting rid of the tribunal and actually do it yourself and not more trolls doing it as well. You built a troll game riot now fix it.

First off, you only lose for dodging ranked champ select. The only penalty for non-ranked dodge at the champ select part is time. 5 minutes before you can re-queue, then 15, then 30 minutes. Mind you it is a problem that more than likely you are dodging to save everyone from some jerk who is making it apparent that he is going to make this game suck if he doesn't get his way. Because your options are to dodge and take the time penalty, or spend 20+ minutes dealing with solo support bot feeding the enemy ADC cause the other guy wanted mid or top and responded to pick order by picking what he damn well pleases and going top even after someone picked a champ for that position. So Riot responded by soon allowing us to queue for position. Which some people aren't grasping the concept of it, some are even complaining about longer queue times. Never mind that I'm so sick of dodging a toxic queue, and now being forced to wait 40 minutes before I MAYBE get a non toxic game is a hell of a wait to be penalized when trying to avoid a headache for everyone involved. Now you get what you want. Perhaps in ranked you don't queue for position, cause the idea for that is that you can adapt and play any role to make the team work. Queue for position in non ranked though lets you practice where you are weak. Suck at Jungle? Suck at ADC? Well then spend all day practicing till you don't suck. Then go into ranked confident that you are well versed in all the areas where you once lacked strength and skill. Even if the queue time jumps to 20 minutes (which PBE test results suggest it will not), it is still less time and less painful than the current system. So, in conclusion, you are mad at them for what? Spending time to put together a team to work on and properly test a way for you to not have to deal with ANY of that?

Also, changing the mechanics of how a support and jungle get gold, how wards are dropped, increasing their gold flow and forcing teammates to work together for warding in a game that you win or lose based on your ability to work together helps immensely. Go to the AMA on the 7th, learn something.

Their approach on queue dodging is actually fair to everyone. If you leave the queue foor a game, you amke every player who has waited for this game lose precious time and have to queue again. Moreover, all players need to pick their champion again, according to their new team of strangers (ie: in solo queue). It is way more fair to treat every queue dodge as an issue, so that people who queue dodge for the wrong reasons can be penalized too. Also, it is very hard for Riot to know who was trolling or not; at least try to put yourself in their shoes before just whining like you did above. It looks bad and makes it so that no one will listen to your one-sided argumentation.

I would suggest, as a first idea to counter trolls, to make it possible to report people who you have queued with and who troll. That would, however, need a brand new way to record queue chat and to judge it. This would need a certain period to adapt and Riot would need to develop a way to monitor this. Same goes with the chat post-game. All solutions need work, why don't you try suggesting something during the Reddit AMA on Nov. 7th, like RekDaHunter suggested above?

People also queue dodged to get a better team, not just because of trolls.
Leavers and afkers will have their account banned if they do it often.
If Riot did the Tribunal's job, there would be harsher bans but it wouldn't nearly be as quick and efficient.

they are fixing it. check out the team builder ama tomorrow. . it's the foundation for what's to come. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=3951169 here's the initial details. the original tests went well from what i read on the PBE feed back. i'm sure they'll do more testing. i am really excited for this feature. and i hope that it can be adapted to ranked and draft modes as planned.
