Regarding Post Game Screen Updates
For those who haven't seen, Riot is adding more in depth data to the post game analysis screen, I was pretty excited. The post game screen is a perfect place for a player to gather data on what went on beyond the fog of war, and where they messed up.
I was expecting something akin to Ace Combat's post mission screen, which would show where the champion's moved during what time (for reference, see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oz7gtMFTZM&t=14m41s). Contrails could be present for a certain amount of time, probably an amount that the player can dictate with checkboxes as well (10s, 30s, 1m).
It would also have a time bar that a player could click, and radio checkboxes available to show pictures of when things were bought, when objectives were taken, and more. You could opt to show each different player so you can observe where they were during what times, what they bought, etc. If a champion's checkbox is clicked, a submenu of which type of data you want to be added to the timeline would appear. If those were clicked, the data would be added to the timeline.
This builds directly into a live replay as well. Later on, it could be implemented that the data could be faded and swapped with the map replay, then the player could "zoom" to the game in progress, and be presented with all the usual data currently present in spectating.
Would appreciate any input on this idea, from more "normies" or perhaps Riot themselves. The post game screen should be a way to gather more data, to better ourselves as players, and ultimately to fine tune not just our numbers, but our ability to outplay the opponent as well.
