Matchmaking is broke again

This week I have been paired with everything from Diamonds to people who haven't even finished seeding, It's unbelievable. I don't know how anyone can play with such a range of skill levels, it's not even fun. It just comes down to the team with the most competent idiot.

Its based off of MMR, that hidden stat only riot has access to, these players will be matched with you because you have similar MMR ranges :)

Which sucks because if you are bronze and have a high mmr (comparable to diamonds) you are still bronze...should be that bronze is vs bronze and if your better than that you aren't bronze.

If you're better than bronze you wont be bronze for very long, so system works fine in that regard :)

not if your constantly being paired with/vs people that are silver/gold/plat etc

With few minor exceptions all the players paired with/against you via matchmaking have similar MMR to yourself, i'm not exactly sure what point you're trying to make with this

its not much better for people playing ins silver and being paired with bronze. Does anyone else notice that you get paired with people who troll on purpose during your promotion series?

The best part of this post is the closing! 80% of games for me comes down to which team has the least incompetent player. No matter how good I can do you can't carry over these people in most cases.

Tier and division are meaningless, that is just an indication of how well you are doing on a personal level against everyone else. The key is to improve your k/d/a, your objective clearing, and overall teamwork ability to carry at all positions (not just ad and ap carries). Your MMR is what matchmaking is about and that is a method of putting like-skilled together, regardless of division or tier. If you think that the Diamond player or Bronze player is all that different than you, you're wrong. The Diamond player not only plays like you but managed to win enough games on the way. Whereas the Bronze player hasn't yet won enough games.

If you don't realize this, you'll never improve. You need to have a carry attitude. If that means you see your adc is dope, then you protect him/her. If you see your jungler sucks, then you provide some support in any way you can. (sometimes a little goes a long way). A well-placed bush ward for 75 gold can score a double kill.

Try to anticipate the game progression and act proactively as if the game depends only on you.
