How about getting a discussion started on the League Client!?

(I'm the worst. I don't know/remember the official name of it but) The game client needs a bit of a rework. Mostly just a few highly desired features:

  • The ability to appear offline: game companies have been doin' this forever and, until recently, you could download an external client to appear offline, but still have chat functionality. I'd like to log on without being bombarded by messages from people on my friend's list asking to play a game. Sometimes I just want to play alone. (I know, you could tell them this, but some of them know me IRL and they are the kind of people who would harass...)

  • In-game VoIP support: Alright, so maybe not in-game, but a dedicated LoL-approved client app? I dunno, having to download Skype/Vent/what have you just to talk to my friends is a hassle. Plus, maybe this could incorporate certain aspects of Curse Voice as well, then the community would be less tempted by 3rd party mods. (again, IDK!)

  • Custom Intermediate bot games!!!! IN GAME!!!! Thanks Riot!

What are you guyses ideas/thoughts/flames?

  1. I would like that too for the same reasons

  2. I'm just not a fan of voice in League itself at all, skype's free and other 3rd party voice programs are fine. But that's my individual stance.

  3. Custom bots have to deal with non standard teams and team numbers (4v3 etc etc) and intermediate bots actually work together to a point, so intermediate bots would 'break' a lot in any of these cases and if you wanted a standard format custom game against bots the why not Co-op? Is the reasoning behind that.

I would highly support an in-game voice chat. It's needed, especially on lower-end machines where running multiple programs drains your computer's processing power. They could easily(well, as compared to outside programs) streamline their voice client to run well with league of legends.
