Are High-Risk, High-Reward champs good champs to master?

I used to play Aatrox a lot, and soon mained him but stopped playing him, Is this a good or bad thing?

well it's really neither but did you enjoy playing him? Thats always the first question I ask before I play a champion. "Will I enjoy playing this champion?" If you did enjoy him you should pick him up again.
