Now that JoJ is gone, what is gonna happen to the Lore? (Care, wall of test)
So after the Patch Notes release and GD going out of control with it (like they usually do) i suppose Rioters in general will try to avoid commenting there for a while, i feel like i need to make a post about my current feelings about the game since i feel like the overall "excitement" of the game have been going pretty downhill to me, i want to focus right now in the Lore department, and as a person have spent a lot of his time figuring out and understanding every aspect of the game i truly enjoy, this is not a QQ thread or anything similar, is just a small feedback about what me and many other players feel currently.
After seeing the "feather" icon disappear it goes without saying that Journal of Justice is pretty much dead now since all the information on there is quite outdated, we haven't had quite much of a content lore-wise now that sales stories are gone as well and it just feels like the current history of League of Legends suddenly stopped and disappeared.
As a person who used to enjoy every single page of Quinn's journal or Zac's files this is a huge disappointment to me because now we barely know anything about the champions we play and for me this is huge, we don't know if Nami's quest made any progress, we don't know any progress about the Freljord's battle, we don't even know about the regular champions of the League like Blitzcrank or Rammus, i'm not asking for finishing histories but i would to know more about the champions to keep me interested, something i feel like there have been some movement in the story.
I just don't want League of Legend's lore to become Dota 2, heroes in DoTA are (mostly) bland and boring with little to no personality, their lore means nothing and are usually a waste of space and even their skins are just as bland (like every single Drow Ranger outfits) and don't even change the in-game particles, DoTA 2 in terms of lore don't even care and people never read those, unlike a great portion of League which is often entertained about the lore always wanting for more, a lot of artists love to make creations for League and a big part of them likes the lore.
The Vel'Koz invasion seems to be my last hope for any kind of new lore... but the invasion pretty much died a week ago and we have been left with nothing in the meantime, we have been told a million times that the lore would eventually be better and you would take it seriously... two years and not much of an improvement, hell we have had less of everything overall (except for LCS, which is fun to watch at times... but is not engaging because i'm spectating people), but mostly lore have been missed.
Anyway just something i feel it should be brought out attention, for those that read the thread, thanks a lot for taking your time to do it, and for those who don't.... well, at least you clicked my thread, so that is something.
