Which Top should I main? Or should I even main a champion?

Darius is a safe pick due to his build tank still do damage mentality.

Trynd is a lesson in split-pushing so he'll win a decent amount but he'll get boring fast if that's all you do with him.

Jax can be a lot of fun if you can get over his early game, but keep in mind a decent team will focus you pretty hard if you start dishing some god damage.

Some other high damage top to consider:

Imho you can never get anywhere by "maining" a specific champion, because later on counters and team comps will play too big a part to allow that thinking. Now a favorite champ you prefer to play given the option? By all means, go for it! You gotta try em all out before anything can be said though, and don't be afraid to try something no one's seen before either!

I mean everyone should always have champion they love the most in their lane but there is no reason to just main one champion

Having 1 or more main champions is a good idea but need to remember to include other choices, traditional and non-traditional... Some of my best top laners aren't meant to go top... (Quinn, Vayne)... Hope I could help =)

What I look for in a top is someone who fits what the team needs. I main bot so I often have to pick what support I play based off of "does my team have a tank." All too often I'm in games with a or top and the jungler going full damage .... the moment the mid game hits we dont have enough tank and start falling hard.

Just be aware of what the team needs and play and practice different champions, find ones that work with counters and team comps...

As for an actual recommendation, I'd go with . She's got good damage and dueling in lane and she can get really tanky for the team.

I'd suggest...well, any one/two/three of those that you picked. Jax and Wukong are both extremely reliable in a majority of matchups and can be very flexible in terms of their builds. Tryndamere is also reliable, but I find him best against teams that can't handle splitpushing.

Tryndamere is ok but people don't like him. Wukong is really fun to play, but isn't the strongest in top with this meta. Darius fits nicely, tanky and also deals damage, jax is awesome, but has a tough laning phase.

I would play wukong top just because I know him very well, but if I were to suggest one for you it would probably be darius.
