Right now, if you use smart self cast, it will sometimes cast either what your cursor is over, or a random unit that is near you.
I use it a lot on Kayle/people with shields, and randomly shielding your ally when you're at 100 hp because you tried to smart self cast it is pretty annoying.
This is why you use the Alt key, friend. By holding Alt and then using an ability, you will self-cast said ability. Ingenious! Good luck out there, fellow Summoner.
I totally agree. I set my 4 key to smart cast ultimate. And when I am Trying I shield my ally with lulu e and ult Myself it ults and shields them. It's so Dumb self cast shouldn't worry where your cursor is
