Thoughts on Kayle Q nerf/Lich Bane too strong

Frankly, as a Kayle main I realized she was far too powerful. She was in need of nerf, to balance her with other mids and introduce counterplay which in my opinion was a smart move on riots part. I feel however, that the nerf to her q was far to severe. 1 to a 0.6 ratio was simply too great of a leap to take in a single patch. Rather, I would like to see an increase to 0.8 or 0.75 on her only damage nuke. This change will severely harm her ability to compete at the pro level and she will likely see a significant drop in play/win rates.

I would return back to a full ad or even a hybrid build but Riot chose to remove her damage amplification on her Q which handicapped her on hit ability and was likely the reason that her Q ever got buffed to a 1.0 ratio (read kayle patch history).

The buffs to her w and R seems to steer her towards a support orientated role in the meta. I fear with supports such as thresh, Leona, Blitzcrank, Taric, and Sona that she won't even be a tier 1 support. The manaless ulti is also a gimmicky buff as smart players in general will conserve mana and honestly, past level 11 mana becomes less of a constant problem and moreso of a nuisance especially for mids who are typically fed blue. Instead they should've increased the cooldown on her R at max rank to 70-80 seconds as since she naturally builds cooldowns, her ult came up far too often for it's power.

I believe Riot should Focus more of their effort on balancing Lich Bane. All top tier/God tier mid laners that scale with Ap can and usually will build lich bane and do insane burst damage with it (Kassadin, Fizz, Orianna, Gragas, Diana, etc) so much so that an ADC will have little ability to shield from such insane damage. I believe that a nerf to the spellblade proc, perhaps to 0.5 or 0.6 will help.

Thoughts/Opinions? Agree/Disagree? No flames please, try to be relevant and support arguments with proof.
