I'm just wondering how everyone's response is towards Riot removing the isolation passive of it. Did it make Xerath's ult too lack luster?
I kind of enjoyed the whole "pick off straggler" idea it had going along with it instead of the "hit general area and click many times HERE" thing.

I don't know, it feels neglectable and clunky, especially how its fired. Maybe it takes getting useful, but it has a much more niche use then before. It seems its not supposed to be used during a teamfight, but before or after
The only thing I take issue with is ult is just how small the AoE is. As someone put it on PBE, "If you hit, you feel like it's because the enemy failed to dodge, not because you aimed well." His ult is too far separated from the rest of his kit to properly be part of his burst, but it's so easy to dodge his ult that I don't even see the point a good chunk of the time.
