Show Down and other Map types.

I'm sure Riot has made an official statement before, however I am lost.

I logged on today to find Showdown missing. since the holiday season has ended we no longer are allowed that map type???

Dear Riot, I don’t understand why you are taking out Game types???

I understand that Snowy rift was taken out since maybe it had not been updated with the new bushes and jungle camps. This is understandable yet still disappointing. You are the pillar of free to play and online gaming right now, up there with Call Of Duty and World of Warcraft. so why cant we have a little more support on other game types?

Why cant you update the map type as you fix it? why remove it all together? And where is Magma chamber?... No I am not talking about that silly 1v1 thing, I’m taking about that massive piece of work with the 2 epic monster camps.

You can pull the "its not ready yet" card on new map types like snow rift and magma chamber, but you gave us one for all and showdown. Then took it away?

Id like to remind you that you were basicly an indie gaming company at one point in your life. Remember when you had one of the largest number of viewers during tournaments like Dream-hack and we didn’t even have a spectator mode? you had to use a 6th champion on each team to see what was happening in order to shout cast of season finals. talk about unprofessional... yet no one cared! we loved the game despite it's kinks.

So why cant we have showdown back? its basicly a finished product. sure it maybe extremely imbalanced or something like that but I enjoyed it a lot. Even if its only a custom mode game type id be happy.

Please Riot give us Showdown back now rather, then later. Or at very least a valid reason its not available right now AND when it will be.
