An inquiry into Jinx's passive.

Hey Riot, I love what you're doing and how concerned you are with your players as well as how you make sure to listen to our suggestions. Keep up the good work. I don't know if you'll see this comment but if you do I just have a small mechanical question about, my favorite champion, Jinx Jinx. Her passive "Get Excited!" is one of the most thrilling and iconic parts to her game play and kit. My question is why does her passive not activate after contributing to a inhibitor kill? I know it says in the description "Champions and towers" but why the choice to exclude inhibitors? I've found myself pushing a tier 3 tower down and procking the passive only to turn my attention to an inhibitor. I have no problem with wasting the passive by not running away to safety or chasing a kill in the enemy base. But if I choose to destroy an inhibitor the speed boost would come in handy to escape or push on where the previous one had gone practically unused and I see no harm in giving her the speed after that objective. It wouldn't make her overpowered or unbalanced and there would still be a lot of danger in staying in enemy base to push down an inhibitor. I'm really curious as to the details of this really small element of the game even though it may seem weird. Jinx is my favorite champion after all and I just love knowing more about her. So to reiterate the question: Why is there no inhibitor kill speed boost and would you consider adding one in an upcoming patch? Thanks for doing all that you guys do. I hope you can get back to me :D. -Yours Truly, Did I Lick That.

My thoughts...

Team A has an exposed inhibitor and they are holding Team B at the edge of their base. Jinx can kill buildings REALLY fast. Instead of having an actual fight over the inhibitor, Jinx can ignore Team A, kill the inhibitor and get out with minimal risk. By having her passive proc on a target she kills easily, it encourages a game play that ignores enemy players and can be frustrating to play against.

I thought about that but there are a few problems with that. The first being that Team A could just collapse onto the out of position Jinx who has no escape, besides "Get Excited" which isn't activated unless she takes the inhib down, and then Team A would have a huge advantage in that team fight. Team B would have to work together to zone Team A away from the inhibitor just to let Jinx get it without because she can't take it as fast as it seems. The second problem being that in assuming an she can just ignore the enemy team couldn't almost any adc? A lot of adc's have an escape that doesn't even require procking. Whether it be Ezreal with Arcane Shift, or Cait's Net, Lucian or Graves' dash, Vayne's Tumble and so on. Even a lot of attack speed fighters have a escape tactic. Jax can go up to the inhibitor and wale on it while activating counterstrike to ensure some safety and then leap strike out to an ally or ward. Aatrox can do the same but just jump away. The third problem is that in assuming she can escape that easily then shouldn't all the towers be easy takes where she simply ignores the enemy team and gets a tower solo?

Perhaps it's because inhibs are already a very valuable target that giving Jinx the extra MS would be too much?
