Current PBE nerfs to Targon not enough. Targon should not generate charges out of lane..

Decreasing the number of charges won't fix the main problem with relic shield. If we compare Targon to frostfang.

In a 2 minute period, frostfang can generate at max (8 from pickpocket + 4 passive gen)*12 = 144 gold

Targon at max efficiency (4 procs every 2 min) will generate: (80 from 2 siege + 40 from 2 melee + 20 to ally) = 140 gold (note this value increases as the game goes on)

So the two are relatively matched in gold efficiency.

However, Targon can generate charges for up to 2 minutes out of lane. Which means you can leave lane for 2 minutes at a time and still achieve max efficiency. If you leave lane for 2 minutes with frostfang, you'll lose 8*12 = 96 gold.

With proper coodination, its possible to achieve maximum gold gain with Targon as long as you last hit 4 times every 2 min. This is impossible with the other two items, which generate considerably less gold once laning ends.

Even by decreasing total charges to 3, the same problem exists. As long as you coordinate last hitting with a teammate every 1.5 min, you'll achieve perfect efficiency with Targon.

The key nerf that HAS to happen is for it to somehow not be able to charge when you are not in lane. (Or frostfang needs to be able to generate 12 charges) and Nomads needs a flat out buff.

Nerfing Targon is a bad approach. What they should really do is buff the other gold-generating items since the other items have crap stats.
