Hey guys, I've been maining Pantheon top lane and jungle for a while now, and have come up with a few questions about his spear, and a few suggestions about his other stuff. So, here they are:

Pantheon's spear shot is affected by the passive bonus from his E, leading it to always critically strike against targets below 15% health, but is there more to it? Can his spear shot critically strike from normal critical bonuses? Is it affected by modifiers to critical damage, such as from item 3031 ? And finally, does it proc effects such as item 3087 or item 3044 , or even item 3071 ?

Moving on to the suggestions/criticism, I've found that Pantheon has a very weak late game, and that his ult..well, it's just not very useful besides to cover terrain. I've had some great pantheon games, but no matter how much you snowball, if the other team manages to survive until late game, their damage and tankiness will just completely outmatch anything from Pantheon, besides that he will still hardly has enough mana to finish a full burst(including his ultimate). I love his early game, his high damaging skills are well balanced with their large mana costs, but he could benefit a lot from a change, namely an escape. Pantheon is an all in champion, engaging with his Aegis stun, but he has no way to escape after he bursts, or if being chased. His ultimate's channel time usually prevents it from being any use to escape with, assuming you have enough mana left to cast it. He's a sitting duck for an all in champion.

His ultimate, failing to be an escape, is not much of an initiator either. The large channel times give enemy champions plenty of time to walk right out of it if they're not immobilized, and even if they are, by the time you drop in on them they'll be on the edge of the circle, where the damage and slow are so low as to be nearly unnoticeable. His ultimate needs to be quicker, or at least harder for enemies to avoid. If someone decided to jump out of an airplane right on top of you, the only warning you would get is their screams. Mantheon is far too manly to be screaming though, so why do his enemies get so much notice that he's going to be dropping in on them?

Moving on to later in the game, Mantheon suddenly mandrops right off of a cliff. No matter how good you do early game, by late game the enemies will be out damaging and out tanking you to the point where it's not even funny. With an ultimate that was already far from useful, Pantheon's other skills become just as irrelevant. His close range skills prevent him from dealing damage without being right in the center of the fight, but when he's dealing so little damage anyway, you're just diving in to die instantly. He's not tanky enough to survive standing in a team fight. He either needs more damage to make up for his late game squishiness, or more tankiness to make up for his low late game damage.

I think this all pretty much sums up my thoughts on Pantheon, so let me know how you guys feel and any of your thoughts on this.

Stay manly,

-- Pantheon

I only realy think his ult needs work done on it... sense the enemy already runs out and away from the aoe maybe we could add a fear effect to it so it would have some uselfulness there

Mantheon was a lot better before the changes to his ult. He's pretty useless now.

Pantheon can burst just about any carry in the game, and his kit allows for very little counter play. If you're running into trouble late game, it's because your build is off-key. Personally, I think is stun doesn't allow for any counter play, because if he gets in range, you're stunned. No matter what. You can flash, teleport, blink, dash out, but you're still stunned.
