Getting ranked points to next division?!?!?!?!?!?!?

i started the day at 36 i won 4 and lost 1 and im at 38??????????? im in bronze division 1 i had like 76 points then went on a losing streak i lost the points so fast yet its so hard to gain them back wats the point RIOT? i dont understand your system u lose so much when u lose a game and gain little to nuthing when u win and since im in bronze division 1 LOTS OF TROLLS im sure u all know can someone explain the point system to me plz i think im missing somthing

u probably have lost more matches then u have won overal. Whats ur win loss ratio

It's based on your MMR (Elo), meaning if the system sees a low rating for you, the LP you earn will be much smaller values that the LP you lose. If your MMR says you should be in Gold, and you're in Bronze, you will gain LP like crazy. Same thing the other way around. All you have to do (I know it's hard) is win enough matches that the system recognizes you as belonging in your tier and division. It's at that point that wins/losses of LP should become more balanced. Hope this helps!
