So after you play a game and get into a new lobby, instead of having to look at recent players and comparing the names can there be like a star or something to indicate that you recently played a game with this summoner. Doesn't really serve much purpose, i think it would just be a neat feature.

That's actually a good idea. If you had a few good game with said player, maybe it would be a good idea to friend them? I personally would think this feature would be nice to see.
The chances you are ever going to play with that summoner again are VERY slim. Unless they've been invited to the game by a mutual party.
This feature is useful for streamers doing viewer games and don't want to invite people more than once. Otherwise I find it not extremely useful but a neat feature.
