Actual good Opinions on Nidalee "balancing"

Ok obviously nidalee presents a different problem to different players, but mainly the focus is always her javelin, its "shocking" dmg. Since I've been playing league(about 9 months now) this continuing circle-jerk which is the "how-to" balance nidalee has been going on.

I've played nid quite a bit and have to say that ya, her spears do shittons of dmg, but the pursueing argument of its too much f***ing dmg is bs imo. If you're gonna bitch about her dmg then have an actual option on how to compensate for it because.

A. She has no true ultimate.

B. Doesn't have access to her Cougar form till 6, which is still a good sized window to play against her.

C. Aside from spears, has mediocre dmg late game in her cat form, albeit its a good ammount mid game.

All I want to hear is a solution that isn't complete F***k this champ shes op, gut her kit now.

Ensue on your circle jerk argument now my fellow nid haters, and proponents.

What do you mean? Nidalees Cougar form is extremely powerful. And how is it not a true ultimate? It changes her form and gives her a entire new set of abilities. It differs from Jayce in that the focus on his ultimate is to switch between melee and ranged--usually using the melee to position yourself for the ranged or the range to attack from a safe distance. Nidalees cougar form is capable of dealing a good amount of damage, but more than that, it provides her with insane mobility that she uses to position her spears, dodge enemy skill shots, or make an escape. If she got it at level 1, then dodging spears would be just that much harder as her pounce is a on a pretty low cool down and when not building AD/Tank Nidalee, her spears are easily capable of killing you in two shots.

The drawback of course, is that you see it a long ways coming and can easily side step it. With her cougar form, if she had it at level 1, she could pounce around to get optimal position before chucking a spear and then she could pounce away afterwards to prevent any sort of retaliation. When she does get cougar form, it balances out because by then the enemies will have more resistances built up to her. Other than an insane amount of damage, her spear honestly isn't that 'OP'. It's easy to dodge, and can be body blocked. If it really troubles you that much, stay behind the minions. Just think about it for a second, the wall of minions that you use to body block her nukes would become essentially ineffective if she could just pounce around to the side and nail you anyway.

If you want to talk about a champion without a true ultimate, I suggest looking at Udyr or Karma or even Jayce. Jayce's ultimate is less than an ultimate the Nida's because all it does it literally change his attack type and provide a small bonus on the first hit. Nida's ultimate provides her with stat differences as well as the fact that it levels up the Cougar form skills everytime you level it up--a difference from Jayce where the QWE level in both forms just by choosing the reciprocating skill in the other form.

Her problem is that she has a heal as well as intense AP burst
