What happened.. I mean really what the F*** happened to fiddlesticks? He used to be such a great champion and was able to be played pretty damn good. Ever since one of his patches, he got nerfed wayy to hard. His damage is a joke now and his drain is half of what it used to be, not to mention how he falls off pretty hard in game too. Now all Fiddlesticks is really good for is a support, and even as a support he's not that great. everytime i see somebody play fiddle mid they always get destroyed and even the jungle is horrific too. I highly suggest a Fiddlesticks rework, i feel this would help him out a lot.

I am so tired of all these types of cry baby posts calling to nerf perfectly balanced champions. Fiddle has been unchanged with the same win rate as long as I can remember. Suddenly people want to boohoo over his fear..learn to counter his fear. build some freaking tenacity. ban him if you must. But for the love of this game, he doesn't need to be nerfed. If anything, all the other champions need to be buffed since they've been over nerfed thanks to posts like yours. A champion doesn't need to be nerfed just because you haven't taken the time to learn the mechanics of how to counter them.

The problem is that fiddle fear is a cpoint and click skill.

There is litteraly nothing you can do to avoid it and even with tenacity, I have time to take a shit while I'm feared.

The skill itself wouldn't be as bad if it was a skillshot, but it's not.

Oh and I myself am tired of crybabies blindly defending their champions the moment people talk against it.

my champion, actually, was zyra, not fiddle..until the recent patch that nerfed her to the point that she is useless until extremely late game. Zyra is the reason I am being vocal about my annoyance with all these cries for champion nerfs. It is silly to nerf a balanced champion just because a champion becomes popular and exposed to more players who have never or have rarely played against the champion because the champion was previously not popular. I just find the cries for champion nerfs are often so premature. People need to have more patience - play against the champion for a while now that they are popular - everything has counter play. I wish more people would look at learning to counter a suddenly popular champion as an adventure rather than "too OP, pls nerf" - because often times the suddenly "too OP" champion has the same kit they had when they weren't "too OP". For instance, nothing changed about zyra's kit, yet suddenly everyone thought she needed to be nerfed because she became popular and more people were exposed to her that did not know how to counter her effectively. Believe me, she had counter play, otherwise my win rate with her would have been higher.

Yeah no kidding if any champ needs to be nerfed badly enough its Darius . Almost every game ive been in with a Darius they end up as one strongest players with little effort. Fun champ? very. Op? very.

the actual problem with fiddle is that he's a casualty of the metas. in order to have a good team with a fiddle jungle you need to have a good tank in top lane and a lot of players would rather not play a tank top. opting instead for someone who can carry with a little more damage.

fiddle is not viable in mid lane because of the same meta and so he falls to support. i don't really think he needs to be buffed/nerfed. the new gold/jungle changes should do that on their own.

this isn't really true... if you don't have a tank... I build zhonya's, abyssal scepter, and rylais on him... he actually becomes pretty bruiserish and with his drain can tank really easily.... I would say as long as you have at least a bruiser or tank support you would be fine... but even as the primary tank he would be fine.. just have to make sure you aren't running in the dark as much hiding for perfect ults

i think he's very situational. and it takes a good deal of gold to build up to those items. and until then he's squishy. i'm not saying you can't do it. i'm saying that there are better choices out there. i mean that's what the meta is based on really. what people have determined is strongest on live at that point.

i'm not saying fiddle isn't a good selection or non viable. but there aren't a lot of mage jungles and you have to play them situationally

that's true... I find if I need a tank badly enough I go nautilus.... but I find I win more games as fiddle honestly :p the unseen ult is the deadliest B)

yeah. but that's it. with proper warding then he's relatively neutralized. you just have to adjust your warding patterns well enough. if the fiddle isn't able to adjust to that. then he either dies or wastes his ult.

he has become significantly weaker now that he can't just grab oracles and be like haha....wards....lol

but he can still at least use the new anti ward thing to look and see if there is wards around him when he finds a place to ult from

Yeah no kidding. His cool down for his abilities are way to long. It takes 6 seconds for his drain when its maxed out and his fear takes 11 seconds. Yeah its great when it happens but after you use them your dead meat.
