Flip the camera

Probably not really a camera flip, but either a) a positioning flip (so the camera looks like how it does for the blue side, but you're still on the purple side, if that makes sense), or b) make Summoners Rift like Twisted Tree and make it a sideways map. Either way.

I guess technically, it'd be a camera rotation...

I understand the virtues and bonuses of having the camera unlocked, but the actual feel of the game with the camera locked on your character, giving the player a better sense of "this is you" in comparison to the rest of the game, so it feels more like a Diablo sort of scheme than a WarCraft III-but-you-only-play-Hero-units scheme, which is far and away a better gameplay feel.

I really wish we could get an official response to this on if there was any internal testing or what it looked and felt like. I imagine the maps would look a bit weird due to being built around a fixed perspective in mind though.

This should be in the ideas and feedback section. That would also confuse me pretty thoroughly as to which side baron/dragon/buffs are on if my game keeps flipping every other game. Try unlocking your camera.

I play on both locked and unlocked camera comfortably and the people who say that playing on lock camera makes you bad have no idea what they're talking about. I play primarily on locked and I have no difficulties using things like Nocturnes ult or Lux's ult. All you need to do rebind the "Lock Unlock" Camera button on space and you're good to go. There is no downside to it.

I actually can't even understand how you can consistently play with an unlocked camera. I mean, how do you handle for example, going mid lane and having to dodge skill shots while still manipulating the camera... IDK, I just don't get how you crazy kids do it.

Im a casual player with many friends who also play casually. This camera issue for purple team is the biggest turnoff amongst all players that I talk to.

omg plz make flip camera or posisioning flip or whatever the name is. cuz i heard ppl saying they reall are having a hard time when they are in the purple side. i wanted try out ez and i was in the purple side but i couldn't make my Qs hit and i play with locked camera. it's hard to play with unlocked camera. plz Rot make a camera flip so it's easy for the players.

Wait...people still use camera lock?? Oh lord, you poor players, you just don't know how badly it limits you :( Quicky, change now! It's a much quicker adjustment than you might think. Course I guess as a starcraft/warcraft player I grew up with an unlocked camera.

i like the idea personaly but i might screw up more that its fliped im so used to the old set up but that is a very thoughtful change if they make it

I play with an unlocked camera i cant say i really notice the difference anymore
