REQUESTING HELP FROM ALL (good) SUPPORT MAINS

I want to become a support main and want as much advice as I can get from people who actually main support. Any tips on general supp strategy, warding, csing when adc is gone or minions are at our tower, ganking (I've seen incredible blitz ganks at mid), champ suggestions, tips for specific champs, how often to use /d, or seriously anything that I should know as a supp would be appreciated.

not that im a good support or main it(used to back in s4) if adc backs and your near full hp/mana roam with jungle and get some wards down, don't roam alone tho.

I would say the best tip to learning support main is to just stay with your ADC (bot laner), be helpful to your team, and have fun! =)
