Why nerf ghostblade lethality when lethality runes give more?

Lethality marks offer 14.4 lethality (+9.6 if you add quints). Essentially the same as an entire lethality item. This is ridiculous. You don't get an entire item worth of damage if you build attack damage marks, you get 8.55 AD. (somehow scarcer than lethality) The lethality runes are the thing that was overtuned. Hell they offer near twice as much as their magic penetration counter parts. (1.6 vs .87 per mark) Hell they offer more than magic penetration runes at level one. They give 8.64 vs 7.83 from magic pen marks.

With marks and quints runes offer more than pre nerf ghostblade, and there is no reason!. These are the only runes that give more stats than the items you build for those stats, and on a stat that is limited in availability too!

Why not give Ghost blade its pen and instead take the 5 out of these clearly overtuned runes?

you realize that item 3142 wouldn't be a good item if it gave no AD, right? Lethality is never an item by it's self, but you are acting like it is. As if ghost blade etc only gives 15 lethality and no ad. That's how you are making it **SOUND ** in your post.

But now, if we compare lethality runes to it's counter -- Armor runes, A set of Flat armor Quints, and scaling armor yellows LITERALLY negates lethality runes after level 1. So starting at level 2 **your armor from runes is higher than the armor penetration that they get from lethality **

At level 18 you are getting 39.78 Armor from Quints + Seals, and they are getting 24 armor pen from marks + quints.

There was no reason for Lethality on Ghostblade to be 20 as opposed to 15 on the other two.
