If you're bronze (don't mind my profile, it probably says I'm bronze, I'm just no longer playing ranked, aside from "having fun with friends"), you need to think about yourself, not about the team -> you need to solo carry. Either go mid with an ad assassin who can roam easily (Zed / Talon), bot with a hyper-carry AD (Vayne / Twitch / Tristana), or jungle with someone who can put a lot of pressure early in the game (Shaco / Lee / Evelynn (? not sure anymore) / Gragas). If you want to climb, don't mind your team in this elo, try to carry by yourself

I was going to jump over and take a look at your top lane match history, since I'm a top lane main and am practicing support myself, but you've been playing so much support lately that I only saw two top lane games on there.

The first of those two games was Maokai vs Nasus. Did you pick Maokai before or after Nasus picked, because Nasus does very well in that matchup, as you clearly learned. Not sure if it was because you were dealing with Nasus or not, but while your CS was the second highest on your team it was also not great. 100 CS by the 10 minute mark is perfect CS, and you had a little over 100 when the game ended at 27 minutes. Wouldn't hurt to go into the practice tool and just CS every once in a while for practice.

Your other game was against a Galio, and while you handled yourself well from a KDA point of view your CS was even lower, with a similar total game time. Your ward count for each game was rather low too, even though compared to both your team and the enemy team you were fantastic.

To sum it up when it comes to top lane work on that CS and try to place a few more wards per game. If you do try and play a bit more top lane also look into expanding your champion pool, though admittedly I'm working off of two games here. Hopefully someone comes by with experience as a support to help you out.

i was first pick and nasus was lastpick,i pretty much get first pick every game which is really annnoying cus my champ pool are low and half the champs i play against i cannot play nor how they work, it.i would be greatfull you can help me out as top lane player to improve.

Well start with that CS. It's a skill that really helps you in this game, and we have a practice tool that is perfect for improving it. Pick your chosen champion and go to lane with no items, and just last hit until the 10 minute mark. Record your CS score and reset the tool to try and get a better score. Perfect CS is around 100 so the closer you get to that the better.

A real lane will have other issues you have to deal with, but the more gold you are able to get from minions the better you'll be able to deal with your lane.

The next step would be to identify what type of champion you find fun up there. Doesn't matter if they are good or meta, because when it comes to top lane any champion can be made to work with enough effort. Try out a few more tanks like Malphite and Ornn, then try a few Juggernauts like Darius, Illaoi, and Garen, and then a few Divers like Kled or Renekton. There are Battlemages like Vlad and Rumble, Skirmishers like Fiora and Riven, Artillery Mages like Jayce, Burst Mages like Lissandra, and even assassins like Akali and Shaco.

Then you have the odd champions like Quinn, Teemo, and Singed, though I wouldn't recommend them as they require certain skills that don't always apply to other champions. Once you identify a champion class you enjoy try out the others in that class to see if it's something you like, and practice CS with them as well.

idk if bronze is same as silver but here is how i climbed outta b3 or b2. I also got some advice from a friend of mine who went from B4 to D5.

I'll start with support. For bronze, play the carry supps if you can. The supps like Alistar, Thresh, and maybe the healers. Be sure to get general macro better like objectives and ending the game faster. If you believe in counter picking, here is a general knowledge of types of supports and which is good against which. Utility (stuff like soraka), CC (Braum), Kill (blitz and thresh), and poke (Xerath and Zyra). Healers like Soraka is good against poke champions, however, they are extremely weak to the kill supports like blitz for obvious reasons. Kill supports are countered by CC supports because of how a cc support can deny damage and can peel for the adc like a Tahm Kench eating their adc if leona uses her zenith blade. CC supports are weak to poke supports because of how the damage is consistent rather than a short burst. Why am I spouting all this? Because in my experience, If you win lane, you can usually win game depending how you snowball your lead. In bronze, people like to rage. If you are able to destroy lane, they will be put on tilt. If you are lucky enough they will int, afk, or just not help their team all game. For teamfights, depending on team comp and who you are playing. you should always be focused on keeping your adc alive as a healer and peel when your cc tank. And the most important is vision control. I can't say buy sightstone anymore thanks to its removal but ALWAYS try to buy a control ward whenever you can as well as the oracle trinket. look up places to ward around the map and always ward the objectives like baron and the jungle. decisions like to call baron when all 5 are up is based around vision because if you see the adc or jungler across the map, you can start the objective at the opposite side of where they are.

Moving to toplane, I'm not sure about carries like panth, fiora, or riven, But when I played top, I played stuff like poppy or Maokai because of 2 things, engage, and peel. When I play super tanks like poppy, I always am near the adc and looking around to make sure that things like shyv or kha'zix can't get on them. If your adc is untouchable, they will deal loads of damage like a varus or a MF if they are left untouched.

For general game knowledge in my experience, Solo carry is good, but its a lot easier if you get the team ahead! you can split push all game or group, but it won't help them if they get destroyed early game. As top, you can roam mid if you push in you make the enemy back or push them hard under tower. Usually you'd walk mid to gank or make a TP play botside if the enemy is going hard near your side of the lane and you can tp to a deep ward and help. for supports like thresh or bard, you could roam as much as you want mid. (quoting diamond friend) "The difference between gold or lower and plat, is that the plat players use their lead to get their teammates ahead".

I hope this helped, I know its a long read. BTW I ended in g5 last season

That is the problem for ex i get a head a sup,at this div i can ward the entire map but what does that matter cus ppl dont even look at map or even if using ping's for warning or objective's.its sad to use compare lol and wow but and the end of the game all they say biut i had 15 kills and rest of you didnty do shit this game, but in fact if you have 15 kills what did you do with the items and gold do they help other lanes no they just tunnel vision for more dmg and charge in 1v5. they dont know how to use the lead either i get or another lane get's ahead.

You gotta make the calls my dude, whether or not they listen is always a variable. There will be games that people will listen to a supp. just don't feed so you're more credible to the teammates.

I am trying to and the calls i see are not unrealistic like a baron, simple objectives like turret mid/adc get more farm to stall and dragon.I try only the enage when our team have more people near where i ping or trying to same some ne,yes i get cought on th emap cus im trying to keep as much vision as possible for there we are moving, usually i just wanna try to get death a killl that matters for an objective and just a random kill.Dont get me wrong if i knew what i was doing i wouldnt be in this div.

ward the important places and know when to face check and when not to, otherwise if you can't get your macro good to make up for your lack of mechanics then I'm not sure what else you can do then, my friend whos on supp doesnt have good mechanics as I do but he is always a step ahead of his opponents thanks to his macro and game knowledge.

If your below diamond 5 play annie doesnt matter the role STAY AWAY FROM ASSASSINS AND YASUO. Then just cs i strongly say start off every day with 5 minutes of just csing with annie in practice tool youll climb just doing that alone

I think you should try all support meta champs out at least once and find one that you really enjoy playing. The best thing to do as a first timer is to pick a champ that goes well for your team and focus on your itemization and runes that scale well with the champ you choose. For me I enjoy playing Bard. I switch between Aery spec and Kleptomacy depending on the champ match up. I preferably go Klepto against melee based supports and Aery for early game harass against squishy supports (like Sona). Bard's early game potential is tremendous with early scaling champs, like Jhin, but he is also very squishy at this stage of the game.

Once you feel comfortable with your mechanics and macro's, attempt to lane harass and set up plays for your team. Also, vision is key for lane pressure and map awareness. To give more insight, my itemization is solely based on how well my team is performing. For instance if I were to build a damage item (in this case a Lich Bane) at an early stage in the game if my AD Carry were to have an advantage, I would feel that we would have the upper hand if we were to engage aggressively. Most likely your build is going to be based on utility to help out your carries. For an example: Knight's Vow and Iron Locket.

Other supports that I suggest for an early game advantage but are high risk/high reward are Sona, Brand, Zyra, Lux, or Vel'Koz.

If you want to play safe, pick Leona, Braum, Karma, Lulu, Janna, Taric, or Nami.

I do not suggest picking Thresh or Blitzcrank if you are not familiar with skill shots or enemy movement predictions. Also engaging with these types of supports could end badly. Do not let that frighten you; however, because they are another high risk/high reward pick. It's best to practice as much as you can and use what you've learned in your ranked games. I wish you luck, fellow support!
