So, with the level 30 cap being removed we shall see a lot of high level champions. But, do we get rewarded all the hours we've spent at level 30? Plus the emotes as well? I've been playing league since day 1 and with this new update it would be nice to be rewarded for my veteran status instead of having to work for what I have already put it. IDK it's just a thought. Maybe other's agree?
You do get emotes, and if you have been playing since day one, likelihood is you'll get the Conqueror of the League emote (Super-rare)
no.. you don't get rewarded even if you have 9k games (like me..) you just progress from level 30 , and you dont get rewards from previous levels because.. reasons
They said everyone starts 30 because "hurr durr you already got the IP and leveling up gets IP." Anyone who's played Overwatch, Smite, HotS, or other infinite leveling games knows that's not what we care about. No one looks at a level 2000 in Overwatch and goes "wow, that guy must have a lot of in game currency and Tracer skins" they go "Jesus, this guy is dedicated to the game" and now we get to be the same level as people who started 3 months ago, woohoo. HotS and Smite added infinite leveling within the last year and they retroactively gave out levels for what had already been achieved, I guess Riot decided they were such a big company they could get away with not doing the same.
Veteran emotes are based on hours played and not level, so if we're eligible already we'll get them.
Why would you? You weren't rewarded before for any of the time you put in, and now you want to be retroactively rewarded?
Even if you received NOTHING, at worst it's a neutral change. But you're still going to get rewards for leveling up, which means even if it's not much, you're still going to come out ahead. You'll get something that you previously didn't have before. Isn't that enough?
You got ip all the time you played since lv 30. Geting higher levels doesnt get you anything more than blue essence. So it really doesnt matter
