Return of the Honor System?

First off I know the Honor system has gone no where, but it feels virtually nonexistent.

Anyway, been looking into differences in Ranked Solo/Duo Q vs Ranked Flex Q.

Tbh I dig the hell out of Flex Q unlike most of the populace. I see one as it's time to put on my big boy pants and try to carry games (Solo/Duo) and the other as precisely Riot advertises is about teamwork and communication (Flex). With that being said hopefully this will be the return of an actual working Honor system.

My vision of Flex is a place where eventually after Normal Draft disappears (maybe, according to what Riot ideally wants) Riot will come to understand that friends in Bronze 1 and Diamond 5 will want to play with one another in a competitive setting and will allow such an MMR difference to fly.

I think although it sounds bad on paper I see it as a way for players to really communicate with each other. To let go of your fears of ranked (leave that for YoloQ adventures). To share insight, knowledge, tips and tricks etc. And that's where the Honor system might finally come into play. To let it carry more weight in Flex Q when you get honored or just make it so it is only possible to get honor in said Q.

People who should regularly Q up for Flex and are open to helping their mates be a better player at the game and overall imbue Taric wisdom unto other players are serving this community should and will get better. This IS a TEAM game after all. From the second the Q pops and you are in a lobby strategizing, to the moment you get sent back to the lobby to say your GGs, it is what it is. That is my vision of Flex Q.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Implement the Honor system into Flex so I can carry a ribbon around and put sum respeck on muh name.

Trying to serve as a pillar to this community, let's work together. As a TEAM. Teamwork works.

Here's to Flexin' with my boys on the rift.
