Where is Ascension?

Why remove these fun game modes? Ascension, URF etc... These should be permanent.

I don't understand why they are temporary.

If they were permanent then que times would skyrocket for every gamemode as the community was split, and would proceed to rise as players lose interest in each gamemode (as they are really only good for the community in short times of availability)

I think there are enough people Queing for each game mode. I don't understand your logic. More game modes = lose interest? I would say it's the exact opposite.

It's a simple business model: More options for a set amount of people = less people going to any single option

With less people playing any single gamemode than queue times will increase with a lack of compatible players to be matched against. Not only this, but it's been shown that general interest in special gamemodes decrease the longer they are made available. With this knowledge, we know that more people will leave these individual gamemodes to return to normals/ranked which leads to even larger queue times for those playing the special gamemodes.

It's a general waste of time/money/server space for Riot and the Community

where are these types of people during announcements and Rioter comments? information about the rotation of game modes has been up for months and people still don't understand anything? this has got to be a joke.
